Fallen Leaf Lake Campground

Fallen Leaf is such a special place, and we’d love to share its magic with you. We have some pre-reserved sites for those of you who prefer staying in the great outdoors. Sites are available for two nights from Thursday, Sept. 30th - Saturday, Oct. 2nd (no sites were available through Oct. 3rd, but if you wanted to stay to Sun. or Mon., you could always hotel, AirBnB, or camp elsewhere that last night or two). Let us know if you’d like one of our sites ASAP. Bonus: We’re getting married just a 5-minute walk from this campground.

Basecamp Tahoe South

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Basecamp Tahoe South, the location of our reception. It’s a small, outdoorsy themed boutique motel with a beer garden, plenty of s’mores action, and some lawn games. Check out their camping themed rooms. It’s also right across the street from the Heavenly Resort shops and the Nevada Casinos. (Pro-tip: Find out what the Basecamp rates are on sites like Booking.com and Expedia before booking through Basecamp directly).

Airbnb Cabin

There are plenty of AirBnBs in the South Lake Tahoe area. If you want to hunt for a place with a jacuzzi tub, be my guest. If you want to talk with other guests who might also like to stay in an AirBnb, that’s a great idea. If you want to find a tiny shack of a place in some remote corner and pretend you’re a famous recluse writer, we support you.
